Local Cam turns an iPhone or iPad into a camera that can stream to devices on the same local network. We do not sell personal information, use advertising SDKs, or track you across apps or websites.
Camera frames are processed on your device and sent only to viewers that connect to the local Web or RTSP address shown by the app. They are not uploaded to our internet service. Local recording is off by default. When enabled, recordings are stored in the app’s Documents/Recordings folder on your device. Microphone audio is used only when you separately enable audio recording.
The app listens for connections on your local Wi‑Fi network only after you press Start Stream. Connection logs containing the viewer’s local IP address, requested path, time, and user agent are stored on your device and can be exported by you.
After onboarding, the app contacts kabanapp.fun to retrieve availability notices and minimum-version information. The request includes a random app-install identifier, app and build version, iOS version, language, region, locale, and time zone. The service records app-open, app-close, and state-check events, along with ordinary server security logs such as IP address and user agent. This information is used only for app functionality, reliability, abuse prevention, and support. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
The app automatically sends battery level and charging state, brightness, Low Power Mode state, preferred languages, calendar type, App Store country, display dimensions and scale, and cellular radio technology. This information is used for app functionality, reliability, compatibility, abuse prevention, and support. Camera or microphone content is never included.
Operational events and server security logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate and secure the service, normally no longer than 90 days. On-device recordings, settings, and connection logs remain until you delete the app, delete the relevant files, or clear them yourself. To request deletion of server-side data associated with your install identifier, copy the identifier from Local Cam Settings and email us.
You can deny camera, microphone, local-network, or notification permission in iOS Settings. The app will not stream without camera and local-network access.
